For an unconventional round-up of Spring 2010 fashion, The Block magazine commissioned artist Andrew Yang to re-create 10 looks from the runway on the tiny bodies of 27-inch-tall rag dolls. Presented here are the interpretations of designs by Lanvin, Marc Jacobs, Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester, Katie Eary, Commes des Garcons, Proenza Schouler, Givenchy, and Gareth Pugh.
Andrew Yang is a Brooklyn-based artist and illustrator, who has been producing his own custom doll collections, The Kouklitas, since 2008.
THEBLOCK is a print magazine about fashion, art, and music, and is available through subscription worldwide, on newsstands across Canada, and exclusively at Opening Ceremony in the US.
